Abreva for cold sores treatment is FDA-approved and is found over-the-counter as a non-prescription medication in most pharmacies. It reduces the duration of cold sore and fluid-filled fever blisters. When you feel a cold sore coming on, apply Abreva on the tingling area at least five times a day. It is a small 2-gram tube and you can buy it for under $15.

Many people are suffering from cold sores; about 90% of adults suffer from cold sores at some point in their lives.
